Thai Beef Stir Fry

Chilli beef & basil stir fry
Difficulty Level: easy
Ingredients
- 2 beef steaks
- 4-5 fresh red chillies (depends on how hot you want it)
- 1 clove garlic
- 8 leaves fresh basil
- 10 green beans
- rice
- salt
- oyster sauce
- soy sauce
- fish sauce
Instructions
This recipe is all about the prep, you get that done first, then this will be a breeze.
first take the steaks out of the fridge and leave them to get to room temperature. (15-30 mins)
chop up the garlic and the chilli.
put the chopped up pieces in a bowl and add a dash of rock salt,
with a wooden spoon crush up all this together so it brings the flavour out of the spice.
chop up the steaks into thin slices and add salt.
in a frying pan add olive oil and leave it on medium heat.
when the pan has heated up add the crushed garlic and chilli.
after 2 minutes add the steak and cook till lightly browned. (can still see a little pit of pink)
turn the temperature down.
add a tablespoon of each the oyster, soy and fish sauce.
add the basil and the green beans.
as the sauce reduces, cook the rice and hey presto you are done!
