Step 1: This recipe is all about the prep, you get that done first, then this will be a breeze.
Step 3: first take the steaks out of the fridge and leave them to get to room temperature. (15-30 mins)
Step 5: chop up the garlic and the chilli.
Step 6: put the chopped up pieces in a bowl and add a dash of rock salt,
Step 7: with a wooden spoon crush up all this together so it brings the flavour out of the spice.
Step 9: chop up the steaks into thin slices and add salt.
Step 11: in a frying pan add olive oil and leave it on medium heat.
Step 12: when the pan has heated up add the crushed garlic and chilli.
Step 13: after 2 minutes add the steak and cook till lightly browned. (can still see a little pit of pink)
Step 14: turn the temperature down.
Step 15: add a tablespoon of each the oyster, soy and fish sauce.
Step 16: add the basil and the green beans.
Step 17: as the sauce reduces, cook the rice and hey presto you are done!
