Step 1:
This recipe is all about the prep, you get that done first, then this will be a breeze. Step 3:
first take the steaks out of the fridge and leave them to get to room temperature. (15-30 mins) Step 5:
chop up the garlic and the chilli. Step 6:
put the chopped up pieces in a bowl and add a dash of rock salt, Step 7:
with a wooden spoon crush up all this together so it brings the flavour out of the spice. Step 9:
chop up the steaks into thin slices and add salt. Step 11:
in a frying pan add olive oil and leave it on medium heat. Step 12:
when the pan has heated up add the crushed garlic and chilli. Step 13:
after 2 minutes add the steak and cook till lightly browned. (can still see a little pit of pink) Step 14:
turn the temperature down. Step 15:
add a tablespoon of each the oyster, soy and fish sauce. Step 16:
add the basil and the green beans. Step 17:
as the sauce reduces, cook the rice and hey presto you are done!
