Step 1:

  • Peel and finely chop potatoes.Boil for 8-10mins and leave to cool.
  • Step 2:

  • preheat oven to 180c
  • Step 3:

  • grate cheese,and add to potato,with the s&p.Mash slightly with a fork.
  • Step 4:

  • roll/stretch pastry to about 1cm thick
  • Step 5:

  • spoon filling onto half,and fold spare half over sealing edges with butter,
  • Step 6:

  • place on greased baking tray,and brush melted butter on top of pie.
  • Step 7:

  • bake in oven for 25mins or until golden.
