Tomato Chicken Curry
A very versatile but simple chicken curry
-in a bowl take some chicken,ginger-garlic paste, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt and let it marinate for atleast 30 minutes-1 hour.If you want you can put all this in a ziploc bag and put it in the freezer or the fridge and whenever needed thaw it and use.
-in a pressure cooker add some oil, chicken, tomato soup and some water and close it and cook for 2 whistles. Now this will depend on the size of the pieces and the quality of meat too but if you want to be safe you can cook it for 1 whistle and then remove the whistle and cook it for a few minutes till its done.
note-this is a very versatile recipe. You can add whatever you want in this.Instead of the chicken you can use veggies, chickpeas, beans or paneer (cottage cheese) too.You can even use prawns, fish, goat meat, etc.Additions like cream or butter or curds or garam masala or coconut milk or cashew paste or almond paste or any dry fruits or saffron or mint leaves or coriander or dried fenugreek leaves or any other herbs or spices can be used. This can be even used as a filling for sandwich or wraps when dry or can be even used as a base for biryani.
so go ahead and use your imagination and prepare it the way you want to if you do like this recipe.
