Tomato Sausage Pasta
A beautiful and tasty dish that is quick and simple.

STEP 1:
First, add boiling water to an ordinary saucepan and cook the pasta on a low heat.

next, add some olive oil to a frying pan and leave to heat. Chop your sausages into medium to small pieces and add them to the frying pan. The sausages will cook in around five minutes so make sure they are brown and crisp and then move onto the next step.

now, chop your half onion into small pieces and add with the sausages. Gently stir through so they are a nice golden colour. Next, add your frozen garden peas into the frying pan and leave them to cook with the sausage and onion for around four to five minutes to ensure they are defrosted.

whilst you are waiting for the peas to cook, add a tin or around 5 chopped tomatoes to a saucepan and start to cook on a medium heat. Once you are satisfied your sausage, onion and peas are cooked, add them, including the leftover oil, to the saucepan with the tomatoes. The oil gives the tomato the sausage flavour.

after that, add a beef stock cube to improve the flavour and also add half a teaspoon of chilli powder.

by now, your pasta should be cooked. Drain the pasta and add to the outskirts of a plate, leaving room in the middle for the sausage sauce.

pour the sauce into the middle of the pasta, sprinkle over some basil and enjoy ?
