Ingredients

  • *8 ounces chocolate. (cut into small pieces)
  • *3/4 cup whipping cream
  • *2 tablespoon butter
  • (chocolate shavings for Truffle coating)

Instructions

  1. *Place the chopped chocolate into a medium bowl. Set aside.

  2. *Heat the cream and butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil.

  3. *Immediately pour the boiling cream over the chocolate and allow to stand for 5mins.

  4. *Stir with a whisk until smooth.

  5. *Cover and place in the refrigerator until the truffle mixture is firm.

  6. * Place your coating for the truffles on a plate.

  7. Remove the truffle mixture from the refrigerator.

  8. *With your hands form the chocolate into bite-size balls.

  9. Immediately roll the truffle in the coating and place in a tray.

  10. *Cover and place in refrigerator until firm.
