Step 1:

  • *Place the chopped chocolate into a medium bowl. Set aside.
  • Step 2:

  • *Heat the cream and butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil.
  • Step 3:

  • *Immediately pour the boiling cream over the chocolate and allow to stand for 5mins.
  • Step 4:

  • *Stir with a whisk until smooth.
  • Step 5:

  • *Cover and place in the refrigerator until the truffle mixture is firm.
  • Step 6:

  • * Place your coating for the truffles on a plate.
  • Step 7:

  • Remove the truffle mixture from the refrigerator.
  • Step 8:

  • *With your hands form the chocolate into bite-size balls.
  • Step 9:

  • Immediately roll the truffle in the coating and place in a tray.
  • Step 10:

  • *Cover and place in refrigerator until firm.
