Ingredients
- For one person:
- – chickpeas (half a bowl-full)
- – 1 day old bread (half a baguette, it needs to be old)
- – one egg (optional)
- – tuna
- – harissa (it’s a tunisian hot sauce)
- – olive oil
- – cumin powder
- – salt to taste
- – capers or olives
Instructions
(you need to have the chickpeas soaked in water the day before)
cook the chickpeas in water (don’t add salt) until they are tender inside (this might take a while)
boil the egg but only cook it halfway through.
with your hands, tear the bread into little pieces in the bowl. Add your chickpeas with some of their water to the bread.
add 1 or 2 tea spoons of olive oil and as mush harissa as you want. Season with salt and cumin powder to taste. Crack the half boiled egg on the mix. Add the tuna, as much as you want, and the capers or olives. Mix well and enjoy!
