STEP 1:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees
STEP 2:
Mix all of the self-rising flour in a large bowl with only 1 cup of the greek yogurt

STEP 3:
Combine with a large spatula until you have a shaggy dough consistency

STEP 4:
Continue adding slightly more Greek yogurt until you have a dough that is almost sticky

STEP 5:
Turn the dough over onto a floured surface and knead for approximately 5 minutes or until the dough is elastic and smooth

Once the dough is kneaded divide into 6 equal sized balls

STEP 7:
With your thumb, poke a hole in the center of the bagel dough and slowly work your hands around the dough stretching it into a classic bagel shape

STEP 8:
To make your egg wash crack one egg into a bowl with a teaspoon of water and a pinch of salt, whisk

Place bagels onto a tray with parchment paper and brush with your egg wash

Top with whatever you may like, I made half of my bagels plain and half everything

Bake for 20 minutes flipping the tray halfway through

These two ingredient bagels could not be easier and you’ll be shocked by how good they taste. I made these for the first time about a year ago in my college apartment and my roommates could not get enough. I ended up making them again the very next morning because they were all gone and everyone wanted more.
The great thing about these two ingredient bagels is that they are made with healthy ingredients that you almost always have on hand so they can be made in a pinch. You can also put whatever toppings or fillings you want into these two ingredient bagels. I’ve used this recipe to make sesame bagels, poppy bagels, everything bagels, the options for toppings are endless. These bagels are also a great base for breakfast sandwiches.
I’ve made a wide variety of sandwiches with these bagels and each one was better than the last. You can do a classic Taylor ham, egg, and cheese, yes it is Taylor ham and I am passionate about that, or you could stick to the healthy route and do egg whites, cheese, and some spinach or arugula. Whatever your preference is these bagels as your base will not disappoint.

For these two ingredient bagels I used Trader Joes Everything But the Bagel Seasoning and it worked perfectly. This premade mix has just the right combination of all the ingredients.
