Step 1:

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees( fan forced).

  • beat the eggs and vanilla in a bowl until well mixed, if froth forms on the stop scoop it out with a spoon. Mean while in a pot combine the cream,milk,sugar and the spices( per taste) and bring it close to boil and remove from heat.

  • pour the egg mixture into the milk and make sure to mix it while pouring to avoid curdling. Take an oven proof dish and pour the contents into it through a sieve to separate the spices. If any froth is there scoop it out.

  • sprinkle the cinnamon on the top and place it in the oven and bake it till there is a wobble to it. Bake it for longer if you want it to be hard. If you like it gooey take it out.

  • take it out and let it cool or serve it warm with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
