PREP 0 min COOK 0 min TOTAL 0 min YIELD 0 JUMP TO RECIPE SHARE Facebook Share on Facebook Twitter Share on Twitter Pinterest Share on Pinterest Email Share via Email Ingredients– 1 medium carrot– 1 small brown onion– 1 large garlic clove– 1/2 heaped cup quick oats, or rolled oats or breadcrumbs– 1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed– 1 tbs tahini – 1 1/2 tsp ground cumin– 1 tsp ground coriander– large pinch chilli powder, or to taste– salt & pepper to tasteto serve: wholegrain rolls, baby spinach, avocado slices and your favourite dip (i use roast capsicum & feta dip).Instructions Step 1: – roughly chop first three ingredients and put into a food processor, pulsing until finely chopped. Step 2: Step 3: – add oats, chickpeas, tahini, spices and salt & pepper, pulsing until just combined. Test for seasoning. Step 4: Step 5: – divide mixture into 6 medium patties or 4 large ones. Step 6: Step 7: – heat a pan over medium heat with a good splash of oil. Cook patties a couple minutes each time until browned and crisp. Step 8: Step 9: – spread rolls with dip and pop a burger on, topping with avocado slices and finishing with baby spinach. Dig in!
