Many of these ingredients make up to to 5/6 portions…What you’ll need:-Bag of own brand value rice (1kg for 60p from sainsburys)-Bag of frozen peas or mixed veg/veggies of your choice (about 60p-£1)-Tin of chopped tomatoes (30p from sainsburys)-Curry paste (about £1)-One Onion (diced) (about 30p)-Salt & Pepper to taste Instructions Step 1: 1. Place the rice on the hob. Once boiling reduce heat and cover for 20 minutes. Step 2: Whilst the rice is cooking Step 3: 2. Chop up your onion and put in a pan with some oil for 2-3 minutes (or until light brown) Step 4: 3. Place your frozen veg in the microwave for 4 minutes or if you don’t have a microwave, boil on the hob for 5 minutes Step 5: 4. Once cooked put your veg into the pan with the onions Step 6: 5. add the chopped tomatoes Step 7: 6. add the curry paste Step 8: 7. season to your taste Step 9: 8. drain rice and stir into pan Step 10: 9.
