Fried Okra

  • Okra- as much as you want
  • Olive oil-recommended/ Sunflower oil
  • salt
  • lemon


Wash the okra and cut off the ends of each one on both sides. Let all the okra dry on a kitchen towel overnight.

Next day: using a frying pan heat up some oil and put the okra in... add some salt/pepper. Fry till they look dark green or golden. If you like add some lemon and more salt. Also goes nicely with plain yogurt/ Greek yogurt.
