How I Like My Mash.

This is how i do mash, basically.

Ingredients

  • Potatoes of course
  • a spoon or 2 of butter/olive spread, whichever you use
  • a couple splashes of milk
  • dash of salt
  • generous sprinkling of white pepper
  • a good grating of nutmeg (i grate fresh, but if you want you can use powdered.)

Method

Boil/steam potatoes until nice and soft.

drain if boiled, put back in pan add butter, milk, salt, pepper and nutmeg and mash together.

add more of the extras if needed.

eat!

    Wrong. Vegetarians do use milk. Vegans don't. Don't forget to peel the potatoes before you boil them. This recipe is how it should be.
