Pan Cooked Potato

Quick and cheap



  • One small onion
  • one medium sized potato
  • teaspoon of salt
  • teaspoon of tumeric
  • teaspoon of chilli


1)dice the onion into small pieces and quarter and slice the potatoe into triangle chunks (or how ever you like to slice them)

2)sauté the onions until brown and then ad the potatoes and stir fry for 3 minutes

3)add the spices, stir for 1 minute and then add 250mls of water

4)cover and simmer until water is gone or potatoes are soft
