Step 1:

  • 1. Cook the spaghetti as directed on its packet

  • 2. Whilst doing that, heat the oil in a saucepan and add in the onions.

  • 3. Fry on a low heat for about 4 minutes
  • Step 4:

  • 4. Then stir in the chopped baby carrots, sliced leeks, tomatoes, tomato puree and chopped mushrooms.
  • Step 5:

  • 5. Add a little bit of salt and pepper and leave to simmer for about 10 minutes
  • Step 6:

  • 6. Drain the pasta and serve!

  • You can freeze the sauce, so just make loads of it! Saves money that way too
