Step 1:

  • 1. In a bowl cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy (I recomend using an electric whisk)
  • Step 2:

  • 2. Add the egg and whisk
  • Step 3:

  • 3. Seive the flour in a little at a time
  • Step 4:

  • 4. At this point you may want to add a little milk or water if the mixture feels to stiff
  • Step 5:

  • 5. Grease 8" square tin and spead the mixture evenly
  • Step 6:

  • 6. Bake in the oven at 175oC for 20 minutes
