In a bowl cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy (I recomend using an electric whisk) Step 2: 2. Add the egg and whisk Step 3: 3. Seive the flour in a little at a time Step 4: 4. At this point you may want to add a little milk or water if the mixture feels to stiff Step 5: 5. Grease 8" square tin and spead the mixture evenly Step 6: 6. Bake in the oven at 175oC for 20 minutes
