What I just had for lunch

Ingredients

  • Oil
  • Pasta
  • Water
  • Salt
  • 2 Rashers of Bacon (per person)
  • Cheddar Cheese
  • Tomato Pesto or Sauce (soup will do if you’re particularly skint)

Instructions

  1. 1 – Cook the pasta in the water with a little salt to taste

  2. 2 – Fry the rashers so that they’re done around the same time as the pasta

  3. 3 – Drain the pasta

  4. 4 – Chop the bacon into squares

  5. 5 – Add the pesto/sauce/soup to the pasta and stir it well over a low heat, only add one or 2 spoonfulls

  6. 6 – Then add the bacon and continue to mix

  7. 7 – Grate some cheese into it and mix, it will melt, thickening the sauce.

  8. 8 – Tuck in!
