A Guide to University Kitchen Essentials

There are three elements to our university kitchen guide which we think will cover off all you need to know in order to be prepared for all culinary⇥⇥eventualities throughout your university journey. Whether you are in halls of residence which are semi-catered, fully catered or self-catering or⇥⇥whether you are sharing a house for the first time – you will be sure to find something in the lists below that will apply to you.⇥

⇥⇥As we mentioned in the uni checklist post, it is always a good idea to contact your halls of residence or landlord or housemates before you start⇥⇥buying items to make sure you don’t end up with more than one of the same appliance or utensil in the house. As for store cupboard essentials, if it is⇥⇥agreed in your shared accommodation that each student will have his or her own cupboard then all of these will be needed at some point during your uni⇥⇥stay – if in halls then you will need to assess how much cupboard space you will have.⇥
