The Super Bowl is around the corner, and Americans are gearing up for the biggest game of the year. Football fans are ready to watch the Seahawks and Patriots battle it out on February 8th with their favorite drinks and appetizers. And what’s better than wings with football?
To celebrate the game, Buffalo Wild Wings offers free wings for the Super Bowl, but there’s a catch. For the eighth consecutive year, football fans everywhere are getting ready to head to their favorite wing place for the iconic tradition of “Free Wings for America”, giving everyone a chance to score six wings at no cost.
There are two ways to get these delicious free wings this year. The first is for those who place a pre-order for pick up on game day. And the second is if the Super Bowl goes into overtime.
Fans who are pre-ordering wings for their Super Bowl party must create a Blazin’ Rewards account if they don’t have one already. After that, they must place an order worth at least $25 between February 2nd and February 7th ahead of the game on February 8th.
The customers who follow these steps will receive a reward of six free boneless or traditional wings, which they can then redeem on a future visit from February 10th to March 10th.
The second option, which is definitely riskier but worthwhile, depends on the outcome of the game. If the Super Bowl goes into overtime, Buffalo Wild Wings will give six free wings to all guests at participating locations on February 23rd from 2 to 5 p.m. This deal will only be available for dine-in and in-person takeout only, though.
“Even though last year’s matchup didn’t go into overtime, the thrill of the game is why we keep coming back,” said Tristan Meline, Brand President at Buffalo Wild Wings. “Whether fans are gathering at B-Dubs or cheering from home, we can’t wait to give everyone a chance this year to score big with six free wings – no matter what team they’re rooting for.”
This isn’t the first time that the chain celebrated the big game in exciting ways. Back in 2024, B Dubs partnered with Jason Kelce to give the former Eagles center his own custom meal, which included a burger and an all-new sauce to dip your wings in.
