Burger King is bringing another fan-created item to the menu: the Ultimate Steakhouse Whopper.
The creation, submitted through “Whopper By You,” is hitting menus soon. Keep reading to learn when you can get your hands on the newest customer-made creation below.
A New Whopper is Here
The Ultimate Steakhouse Whopper was the winner of 600,000 fan submissions, earning a limited-time spot on national menus.
The whopper features a 4.4-ounce beef patty with onion rings, bacon, sautéed mushrooms, Swiss cheese, and peppercorn aioli.
Similar to other Whoppers, the creation will be served on a sesame bun. Each bite will tease your taste buds with rich, bold steakhouse flavors that will have you coming back for another.
Product of “Whopper by You”
The steakhouse burger is part of the “Whopper by You” launch, started by Burger King in 2024. The platform allows fans to submit different burger creations, and out of those submissions, the newest limited-time burger is released.
In 2025, this resulted in the BBQ Brisket Whopper and the Crispy Onion Whopper.
If you want to submit your own creation, the “Whopper by You” platform is still up and running online. The process has you pick a beef or Impossible patty, then add three to six different toppings (all currently on the BK menu), and then submitting for review.
It’s all part of Burger King’s mission to target what the fans really want.
In an interview with Joel Yashinky, Chief Marketing Officer, Burger King US&C, he commented:
“Burger King has an incredibly passionate fanbase that loves the Whopper and constantly inspires us with creative new flavor ideas to bring to America’s best burger. We’re excited to start the year with this delicious new Guest-inspired Whopper sandwich, and fans can look forward to even more “Whopper by You” creations later this year.”
When Can You Buy the Steakhouse Whopper?
The Ultimate Steakhouse Whopper will be hitting menus nationwide on January 6th. Similar to other “Whopper by You” submissions, the steakhouse burger will be available for a limited time.
Make sure you get to the fast food chain early to get the latest creation.
A Sweet Dessert Pairing
Need something sweet to balance out the savory flavors of the steakhouse whopper? Burger King has got you covered.
Along with the new burger, the company announced a Cinnamon Apple Pie, also hitting menus on January 6th. The seasonal dessert is shaped like a Hot Pocket, creating a “fried twist on traditional apple pie.”
It’s a great dessert for on the go, and gives fans another reason to head to their local Burger King.
