Sonic launched a new iced coffee for the fall, the perfect flavor that doesn’t copy the rest of the big stores.

Sonic will always be a favorite fast-food chain to go to when you need an afternoon drink. Their wide selection of drinks makes it the best place to go for all types of cravings. From limeades, lemonades, to dirty sodas, Sonic has it all. And now they’re pulling all the stops to become your next coffee pitstop too. But instead of opting for the popular pumpkin spice choice, they chose a different path.
Here is everything you need to know now that Sonic launched a new iced coffee, the Salted Caramel Toffee Iced Coffee. “Salted Caramel Toffee Iced Coffee is the perfect sweet and creamy pick-me-up,” says Barb Williams, vice president of category management at Sonic. “And when paired with Croissants Bites, it’s the ultimate fall duo for guests who want their daily boost with a side of indulgence.”
“Fall flavors don’t have to mean pumpkin spice on repeat. With the new Salted Caramel Toffee Iced Coffee and Salted Caramel Croissant Bites, Sonic is stepping in to give pumpkins a much-needed break, all while giving guests something just as craveable.”
In a video posted to their social media channels, Alexabdra Madison expresses that “Pumpkins have been through enough! We need to save the pumpkins, Jon!” to introduce the new flavor of the season. “Every fall, innocent pumpkins are just kidnapped from their homes! Carved up, gutted, and turned into random things. Candles, pumpkin-flavored coffees, shampoo…”
The hilarious, Chick-fil-A-style pitch is hilarious and definitely catchy for those who feel the same way. For this fall season, “Save a Pumpkin, Sip a Salted Caramel Toffee Iced Coffee”.

- Salted Caramel Toffee Iced Coffee: Smooth cold brew is layered with rich salted caramel and buttery toffee, poured over signature Sonic ice and topped with creamy cold foam and crunchy salted toffee pieces. The Salted Caramel Toffee Iced Coffee is priced at $2.99 for a 20-ounce size.
- Salted Caramel Croissant Bites: Flaky, golden pastries dusted with a caramel sugar blend. The Salted Caramel Croissant Bites come in a 4-piece pack for only $1.99 as part of the Sonic $1.99 Menu and are perfect for dunking or sharing.
The new iced coffee with the croissant bites will be available exclusively through the Sonic app starting August 25 and will be available nationwide starting September 1.
