November 6th saw the return of Starbucks’ holiday menu. But there is more to come in December.
But the most exciting news that customers have heard from the coffee chain is that Starbucks’ Eggnog Latte returns after a 4-year hiatus. Along with that, they’re also introducing a new cold foam. Here is everything you need to know about this exciting news.
While many beloved drinks came back in November, including their Peppermint Mocha, Caramel Brulée Latte, and Iced Sugar Cookie Latte, that’s not the end of the holiday releases. Starting December 2nd, customers can head to their favorite coffee chain and get the fan-favorite Eggnot Latte, along with a new Eggnog Cream Cold Foam.
The seasonal Chestnut Praline Latte, which made its debut in 2014, will also return at this time.
The Eggnog Latte was originally added to menus in 1986, as the company’s first-ever handcrafted holiday drink, but it left menus in 2021 to make room for other holiday creations. Unfortunately, customers were not a fan of the absence of their classic beverage.
Thankfully, after several requests over the past four years, the drink is making a comeback and will follow the same formula fans know and love.
The classic drink is known for offering a cozy Christmas feel by being creamy, sweet, and on the heavier side, making it a perfect treat during the colder, holiday months.
But that’s not all. If the Eggnog Latte is too rich, but you still want to enjoy the creamy flavor, you can soon try the Eggnog Cold Foam. The cold foam should taste like the real deal, although much lighter, which will be perfect on other seasonal drinks or even a simple vanilla latte.
The surprises just keep coming, too, as there are even new treats hitting the menu on December 2nd. On Tuesday, customers can get into the festive mood by drying out their new Cinnamon Pull-Apart treats, which dust croissant pieces with cinnamon sugar and top them with crunchy streusel.
