Taco Bell is introducing Diablo Dusted Crispy Chicken Nuggets nationwide, starting April 16.
For a limited-time only, the fast-food chain is turning its long-running Diablo Sauce into a spicy dust and it’s going to be coating these fiery nuggets.
Beyond the heat, these nuggets use premium all-white chicken-meat seasoned with Mexican spices. Then comes the crunchy tortilla chip breading, followed by the Diablo Dust.

PEOPLE reported that the company sees this as a new way to deliver the sauce’s familiar heat, which has been part of the Taco Bell lineup since 2015. In the same report, Taco Bell executive Liz Matthews described Diablo’s appeal as a lingering heat with a hint of lime.
This isn’t the brand’s first run with chicken nuggets; they had a strong run in late 2024 and sold out nationwide in less than a week. This new Diablo version keeps the same crispy base but leans into the heat, which gives it a sharper identity and probably a little more curiosity for fast-food fans too.
Price and availability
The Fast Food Post reported that customers will be able to order a 5-piece Diablo Dusted Crispy Chicken Nuggets for $4.49 or a 10-piece for $7.49.
There is also a Deluxe Combo at $10.99 with five nuggets, one sauce, a Chalupa Supreme, a Crunchy Taco, regular Nacho Fries, and a medium drink.
Additionally, there is a digital-only 10-piece combo for $9.99, which includes regular Nacho Fries, a large fountain drink, and two sauces.

Getting them is pretty simple too. Show up at a participating location starting Thursday, April 16, or use the app if you want one of the combo options. Sauce choices include Hidden Valley Diablo Ranch, Bell Sauce, and Jalapeño Honey Mustard.
For older fast-food fans like me, this kind of limited-time rollout feels very now, a little chaotic, very online, but the food itself is the bigger story here. Hotter nuggets are on the way, and Taco Bell clearly thinks people are ready.
