Yummiest Chocolate Mug Brownie Ever

Need a microwave, best recipe ever for when you are on your own



  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 dash salt
  • 4 tablespoons granulated/caster sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 4 tablespoons plain/all purpose flour


1. In a mug melt the butter in the microwave then add the water, vanilla and salt. Whisk well with fork.

2. Add cocoa powder, whisk well. Add sugar, whisk well. Add flour, whisk well.

3. Microwave for 60 to 90 seconds. Depending on how gooey you want it. Careful not to overcook.

4. Enjoy the yummiest thing you can ever make in under 3 minutes in a microwave..

    Omg this one is so good! I've tried many recipes, but this one is the best microwave brownie that i've ever had =d i added a few chocolate chips, so yummy!

    I am a teen so i dont know much about cookoing i tried this recipe but it wasnt sweet i did everything according to recipe and it was also a little sour

    Update: if you, like us, ended up making this, then just add milk .
    it makes semi decent hot chocolate

    If you burn it, put a little milk on it and it will be a little more moist. I hope this helps! Also, this recipe is yummy in my tummy!

    This is the first recipe for brownie in a mug i ever tried, but with so many positive reviews i isn't a surprise this is a good recipe. It is delicious. I ran out of cocoa power so i added melted dark chocolate instead. I had to microwave for 60 seconds (720 watt) for the most perfect and moisty chocolatecake ever. Thank you so much for sharing!
